Shipping Guidelines for Sending Beanie Babies to Customers
1. PLACE CARDBOARD AROUND THE HANG TAG
Cut some small pieces of cardboard to sandwich the hang tag in the middle of. Make sure to try and add in the part of the body that the hang tag is attached to as well (ear, leg etc.)
2. PROVIDE BEANIE BABY PROTECTION
Using material such as plastic wrap and bubble wrap to further protect the Beanie Babies is highly recommended. Place the beanie down and wrap it in plastic wrap, making sure to keep the hang tag safely laid down in the cardboard and tucked up to the beanie babies while you wrap it tight to keep it from shifting around in transit.
It’s best to put the hang tag in the cardboard and tape the 3 sides of the cardboard with painters’ tape to keep from damaging the hang tag.
Sandwiching the hang tag tightly between a rigid (non-flexible) material such as cardboard is also acceptable.
3. MINIMIZE SHIFTING WHILE IN TRANSIT
Placing the wrapped beanie baby in bubble wrap as well will also help aid in nothing damaging your beanie baby while it is making its way to his new home.
Remember that your buyer will need to be able to unpack the beanie baby and hang tag without damaging it, so try and use the least amount of tape necessary to secure the cardboard and hang tag.
4. SHIPPING YOUR BEANIE BABIES TO YOUR BUYERS
Place the protected beanie baby in a bubble mailer or box, like the kind you might find in an office supply store.
As far as shipping goes, many buyers prefer you get Tracking / Delivery Confirmation for an item that has been purchased. Tracking / Delivery Confirmation provides the date, time, and location of the delivery or delivery attempt and can be tracked online.

*Any orders over $49.99 in value MUST be shipped with Tracking / Delivery Confirmation. You may also choose to add insurance for your protection.
* Any orders over $250.00 in value MUST be shipped with Signature Confirmation. You may also choose to add Insurance for your protection.
As part of the Seller Agreement, you are contracted to adhere to, it is your responsibility to deliver the items contained within an order to the buyer and you waive your ability to win any disputes if the customer says the package did not arrive due to not having Delivery Confirmation or Tracking. The Seller waives the ability to win any disputes if the customer says the package did not arrive should they choose not to follow the guidelines listed above.
Be sure to take the time to properly package your beanie babies so that they do not get damaged during shipping. It helps keep the beanie babies in the same state when it reaches the buyer as it was when you sent it.
Never ship Teenie/beanie babies in an envelope with no protection. Tags can be damaged in the mailing system more easily if you use this type of method for transport.
